Conundrum of the Night
Conundrum 1:
In the far past and desert. An old man had three children and 17 camels. Before he died , he wrote his testament like the following share:
-Child 1: should get half of the camels
-Child 2: should get the third of the camels
-Child 3: should get the ninth of the camels.
They went to a wise man of the oasis to settle them the heritage as written by their father!
I welcome your help!
Who's going to crack this down, is next to genius!

Re: Conundrum of the Night
I'm not good at all at riddles !! especially cunundrums i never solved one in my life but i know the fascinating story of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb
When the relatives of the dead man heard about Imam Ali's wisdom, they went to him to help them solve the enigmatic will of the man.
He said he will lend them one of his camels so that the number will make 18 , so that they can devide it according to his will:
The first will get the half (1/2) of the 18 camels which is 9
The second will get 1/3 of the 18 camels which is 6
The third will have 1/9 of the 18 camels which is 2
And 9 +6+ 2 = 17.
And then Imam Ali Ibn Taleb told them: "Now i take my camel back"
*Thank you Mr Belkacem Meghzouchene for this nice post

The USA, may be! The World Association of Detectives is located in the USA and the majority of annual meeting sites were held in there too. It was established in 1925.
Here is the link to that association:

Re: Conundrum of the Night
The Answer of the conundrum of last night:
The first documented spy in History was a
bird ! It reported to King Solomon about Queen Balqis of Sabaa!
The name
of the bird is : HOOPOE الهدهد
:
Koran: Chapter 27 : The Ant
[27.16]
And Sulaiman was Dawood's heir, and he said: O men! we have been taught the
language of birds, and we have been given all things; most surely this is
manifest grace.
[27.17] And his hosts of the jinn and the
men and the birds were gathered to him, and they were formed into groups.
[27.18] Until when they came to the valley
of the Naml, a Namlite said: O Naml! enter your houses, (that) Sulaiman and his
hosts may not crush you while they do not know.
[27.19] So he smiled, wondering at her
word, and said: My Lord! grant me that I should be grateful for Thy favor which
Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I should do good such as
Thou art pleased with, and make me enter, by Thy mercy, into Thy servants, the
good ones.
[27.20] And he reviewed the birds, then
said: How is it I see not the hoopoe
or is it that he is of the absentees?
[27.21] 1 will most certainly punish him
with a severe punishment, or kill him, or he shall bring to me a clear plea.
[27.22] And he tarried not long, then said:
I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba.
[27.23] Surely I found a woman ruling over
them, and she has been given abundance and she has a mighty throne:
[27.24] 1 found her and her people adoring
the sun instead of Allah, and the Shaitan has made their deeds fair-seeming to
them and thus turned them from the way, so they do not go aright
