A competition between all members!.

With the approval of some forum' members, we decide to lunch a competition in all arts of writing.This idea was in my mind so long before and i just this is the best moment to post it.The aim of this competition is improve your english writing and the most important to bring out your hidden creativity.
The persons that will assess your writings are the teachers like Princess,Hush, Ezinma& Vertopia.
we're going to comepete every 10 days on specific art of writing like poetry, letter, short story, biography, sayings and so on.
the first art will be a Short story , and i hope will use all what u learnt to write the best short story.
but we get some rules:
-for short story 40 lines in mximum,
-absolulty your own short story ,you have to be honest,
-the competition will start tuesday, july 08, 2010,
-you have 10 days to complete your short story,
-we all post in the same day, i mean in july 18, 2010, no body before that day.


after all, may the best writer wins.

Just to let you know that a post will be created on 18 july to post your short stories , and PLZ don't comment on any work in that post keep it only for posting your short stories, u can comment in this post or elsewhere. The post will be named as " short story competition".

Don't get cocky Big brother...

Let me tell you something glourious.......
if you think iam bragging here let me tell you that you are so mistaking.The purpos of my endeavour is pretty constructive and beneficial for all members, not low in a way to serve personal intentions.
Sometimes i ponder how i keep my english alive & updated or even how to improve it. Iam very sure that everyone feels lost and emptied spot in every begining of the academic year since most of us relaxes both the body and the mind, and worse for graduate students who wouldl not be anymore in touch with english or they would their english weaken and get to low level.

From this preoccupation came the idea of competition , since i firmly believe that competition would bri,g out the best of you , and furthermore it would improve your english.
And if you see that iam enjoying putting rules, then you can imagine a competition without rules .....it will be just chaotic.

This is a confession: so many of you are miles better than me , but here it is another confession: iam Not That Easy.

Wolfy it will be just like that : example Princess gives u : 10, hush 14, ezinma 13 and when u gathere all those marks and devided them on 3 you wil have the average of 12,33 , and will know who's the first just ike that.

Now I'm in !. I wrote it in the last day hhhhh (The last but the best). Can't wait 4 Tmrw to post it and c others' short stories .

I am sure that all of you, dear mates, have noticed that our forum these days is sleeping or let’s say yawning for it is about to fall in a deep sleep. So for waking it up, what do you think if we restore this competition, that we owe its wonderful idea to our mate, Big Brother, and launch a new competition in any art of writing; it doesn’t matter what to write because the most important is to write and share this process.
It has been a thrill to read all those stories we posted on July the 18th, regardless of whom was the winner or which story was the best because we were all winners and our stories were all on the top.
So, if you share me the idea and assent to it, we can deal on which art of writing will gather our pens.
