THE L.M.D DISCUSSION.

HELLO FRIENDS AND MATES!!

I'm back with more "Talking" about the L.M.D system, and L.M.D students' problems and issues. Hoping to help providing -the little- that we know about the system but only with your help.

So come on people "LETS MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE"

Well, let me begin :

I believe you all know what the L.M.D means, Nevertheless I'm going to explain:

"L.M.D "are the initials for "License Master and Doctorate".

Algeria adopted this system in 2004,however many universities are taking a slow pace in using this system. But concerning us-students of LMD in the university of Blida- this is the third year" birthday anniversary ".

First year English L.M.D student must know how it's works?

LMD system is composed of several UNITS. Each unit compose of several modules .the student will have the credit of the module if he got ,at least 10/20 as an average

I'll give you the modules and the correspondent coefficient.

1- unité d'enseignement de fondamontal 1:

composed of the following modules:

1- expression oral (speaking) …credit=3 coefficient=2

2- expression ecrite (writing) … credit= 3 coefficient=2

3- comprehension Oral(Listening) …credit=2 coefficient=1

4- comprehension ecrite(reading) …credit=3 coefficient= 1

2- unité d'enseignement de fondamontal02:

composed of the following modules:

1- morphosyntaxe (grammar) …credit=3 coefficient= 2

2- linguistique …credit=3 coefficient=1

3- phonetique …credit= 2 coefficient=1

4- literature (British/American ) …credit= 2 coefficient=1

5- civilization (British/American ) …credit=2 coefficient=1

3- unité d'enseignement transversal:

composed of the following modules:

1- langue Etrangere2(French) …credit=1 coefficient=1

2- TICE(informatique) …credit= 1 coefficient=1

4- unité d'enseignement de découverte:

composed of only one module

langue de spécialité …credit= 2 coefficient=1
5-unité d'enseignement de méthodologie

composed of only one module (but surely it's a difficult one! at leastfor me)

1- methode de recherche universitère …credit=3 coefficient=2
