I am losing hope of learning ENGLISH

You know , the tittle of this ghostland we are living in is FAILURE .
Failure everywhere , in busines , in relations , and unfortunatly this failure comes after us even in our studying .
I have a great feeling that i'm just loosing my time learning this language , i ask myself ; why shouldn't i choose another major ? and if i did ? whould i succeed ?
The holidays are over , whithout reading a single short story .
The holidays are over , whithout watching more than 2 movies in english .
The holidays are over , whithout speaking neither to natives nor to ESL speakers.
poor in phonetics , poor in prononciation , poor in writting essays and paragraphs .
I don't imagine myself teaching english or working in a place that requires english language .
I am just standing in my place seeing my friends and the world around me go farthar and become better than they were . even some people that i was thinking learning english to them is like going to the united states , they are making a progress ....

I'll stop here before you think that the person you are reading his words is an insane ....

This last year I met a friend who told me this same words:" I don't like this language though I'm a student of it."Two months later ,He changed his mind completey. He even started to talk to me in English outside the class(something he had never done before).So, that's the idea:Things change.

You may not know me Bart but the fact is that I know you in person and my first impression was that you're a very good student. I wish you the best.

Hi HUSH.you did not get what i meant . according to the two previous posts , guys seem to know me . and what i meant is i don't know anyone here in this forum because i am new ; and also because of the user names poeple are using.of corse it doesn't matter who's who .who cares .exchanging knwledge and information is the main idea .

Salam Bart, sorry again for the belated reply. Thank you for your post, you proved to us that the forum is a real community where we can work together and share not only information, but also advice and help.
I saw today a fantastic TV show in Alresalah entitled علمتني الحياة. The episode was really great because it was about learning and why we need to learn and how, I mean I found great and it gave me hope to carry on... Perhaps you can watch it Bard. The show's always at 10 p.m.
