helo everybody, i just want to ask those who are in 3rd and 4th year, what are the novels that we are going to study in literature in ther 3rd and 4th year ? and would yopu help me about these novels ? i mean summarizes and so on !

The novels you are going to study in the third year are :
First EMD :
Enlgish literaure : Hard Times by Charles Dickens.
American literature : The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.
African literature : Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.
Second EMD :
English literature : Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
American literature : The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane.
African literature : A Grain of Wheat by N'gugi Wa Thiongo.

I'll try to answer one part of your question which is about the novels you'll be dealing with in your fourth year.But conserning the second part of the question, I think you should read your novels by yourself then you take notes and make a summary. No one can help you in what you're asking and don't rely on the plot summary provided on the net or in the critiques ( you know well where you can find them ) because you'll awfully miss a lot of information. You have to read the novels.
English Literature:
Shakespeare's Hamlet
American Literature:
Well it depends on what your teacher is going to choose. I studied Stephen Crane's The Open Boat, Dreiser's Sister Carrie in the first semester.
For the second semeter you'll deal with Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.
African Literature:
Armah's The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born for the first semester and for the second semester you'll study another novel by Armah called Why Are We So Blest?
