It appears no such a contest is held neither this month nor the coming one. Some articles in our yellow newspapers said that it'd be in July. My God, the contest news was a lie to calm down the angry educated graduates. My lovely Algeria: " You suck, and suck you and the S is changeable"

Re: JOB SEEKERS?! There might be contests this month!!
Well well well, what I know is that every 'academie' decides when to do it, when they make their "bilan annuel" of the number of teachers they need and many other considerations. In Boumerdes they will do it in June inchaAllah, as for other wilayas I heard some did it, and others will not do it simply because there was no need. InchaAllah there will be a contest in most wilayas (i really hope so for each of us .
When I asked in our 'academie' they said that their annual meeeting takes place every year before the summer holidays. So it depends.

Hello,
These short-termed solutions to keep everyone quiet are not going to withstand the furious reactions of those newly graduates (including myself) The Government'd better come clean and say it bravely that we are not in their future plans. May be we are not that good...who knows?
PS: I miss it in here

Here is a sample of an exam
أساتذة اللغة الاٍنكليزية في الطور الثانوي

The text
Ever since i was a little girl,i knew that i wanted to teach. While i was
growing up i had a chalkboard in my room and i used to pretend i was a taecher
to my teddy bears. My dad is a high school teacher and i always wanted to help
him correct his students’ work.I also knew that i wanted to teach young
children.I did not want to go into the high school to teach.I always loved
children,i started to baby sit by the time i was 13.While i would baby sit,i
always tried to help them with their homework and do anything that would be
educational.Teaching has always been a passion and now i am starting to live it
out.My mother always asks me why i want to do this.My answer is simple.I love
children and i want to be part of their growth, not just intelectually but also
emotionally.I experienced so many amazing things in this job that i would like
to give some recommendations to new teachers.
As a new teacher of English, you’ll have your hands full with correcting grading
papers,preparing lesson plans,setting exams,managing classes and attending
meetings. As a result ,it’s almost expected that you’ll feel near your braeking
point at least once during your first year.To pravent total insanity, and to
achieve the right balance of responsibilities, refer to these tips.
Don’t expect too much of yourself as a novice teacher. You won’t be an expert
the first year, and no one expects you to be .Rely on the fact that you know
your******* ;those ‘’teacher skills’’ will come from experience..
Before the school year begins, make sure you have solide classroom rules and
procedures for your students to follow, and that they are displayed somewhere
in your room. You should also be familiar with the school’s mandated rules and
procedures.By completing this step, you’ll be effectively prepared to meet the
biggest challenge you’ll face as a novice :managing your classroom.
In addition, prepare lesson plans as well as yearly planning even before the
school year begins. You never know when you might need sub plans, and it’s easier
to prpare them when you’re feeling well. But ,to do this, you must be familiar
with reference documents that help you understand the approach and the
finalities to implement.Make sure that planning is vital. If your students are
not engaged by your additional chores like meeting with the head taecher and
calling parents.Avoid stress by being prpared for class.
Then ,if possible, subscribe to educational websites. The websites might include
assigned homework, the date of upcoming tests and porjects, your contact
information, and links to important handouts.Youl’ll save time and frustration
by offering this servise to your studenr and their often needy parents.
If your school doesn’t automaticlly offer you a mentor, ask for help.It is
often said that a teacher’s survival is based on his ability to ask for lesson
ideas.Don’t be ashamed to do this. You have a right to be annoying ; you’re
teinr to survive !This simply means that you worry, and you are eager to learn

Re: JOB SEEKERS?! There might be contests this month!!
Hi again mates I just wanted to inform you that I have been in [color:7832=#000000]the regional education authority of Boumerdes this morning (l'académie) and they said they will start collecting files for the context after few days. Many people I know are getting their files ready here. I don't know about others wilayas but you have to check in the regional education authority of your wilaya and get ready.
Don't forget that there are two administrative papers that you have to renew every 3 months which are:

شهادة طبية عامة و صدرية
Good Luck

Hello dear mates. I sat 4 the contest last year. It was just administering the file papers. Then, an interview is taken. Appreciated file papers r those who have experience in the field and masters are prioritized. A specific criteria is established. Like average of the last studied year, year of graduation(old is prioritized) and published work is taken into consideration also.

Hi my dear Emily! So nice to see you again. I missed you too dear. I was worried about you but it seems everything went okay with you and I'm so happy for you. You must NEVER stop hoping dear and you have it all in you to succeed!

*** As for the paper, you mean the paper I have posted above ?? Well, that's the list of the administrative papers you need for the contest of teachers (primary-middle-secondary school)
You still have 9 days to prepare them dear. The contest is will be oral, a sort of interview. They will give you a text to read aloud to see if you have a good pronunciation and then you will be asked some general questions concerning comprehension. That's what I have been told.
