**The following issues are submitted for research, analysis and debate:
-Problems of Space (location(s), Setting(s) Rhythm, Mood…etc
-The stage comedian V.s the film actor (presence V.s attraction)
-Themes and sub-themes are revealed, emphasized or downplayed as we more from one medieum to another.
-Disguise, self deception, love
-The language: the original Shakespeare text V.s the film text
-The poetic language of Twelfth Night: what is left of it?
-Other issues may be discussed
-Shakespeare's plays made into films: For or against? The debate is on.
-Shakespeare's plays made into films: a reinterpretation? Conductive to a more democratic share of Shakespeare's plays?

Hi mates, this year there has been many changes in terms of the modules and the program as well.
the only module that remains is comparative literature

after going through the main characteristics of postmodernism we'll try to study those elements in kurt vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-five
and Pynchon's the Crying Lot of 49.
The Elizebathan Theatre( with a focus on shakespeare plays: twelfth night, hamlet and macbeth)
week1: general intoduction to the seminar
week2: shakespeare and his contemporaries
week3 and 4: a study of macbeth and hamlet
week5: focus on twelfth night. plot(s)?: comedy and seriousness in twelfth night.
week6: characterization twelfth night.
week7: language twelfth night.
week8: wit and humour twelfth night.
week9: sexual disguise twelfth night.
