Didactics or Literature fan?

Well, for me it was so obvious to choose literature, I always knew that i love it. My conviction is that we can be succesful only in doing something that motivates us and we love. It's evident that mere 'inclination' is not enough, capacities and faculties play an equal role.

So, in my view, one should find a balance between what one prefers to do and can eventually do.

Just like choosing a topic for one's final project, determining what field to follow is so crucial. If you have the neccessary "bagage" (motivation and relevent knowledge) everything would be so easy.

It is indeed a choice which requires lingered considerations.

Well i do not think that it is a hard decision. Just do what you like more so you can enjoy what you are doing . Personnally, i prefer lit and i cannot imagine myself doing something else.

Well dear mate Glourious. I want u to take into consideration the following:
I think the one before decides on any thing he has to ask himself where am I? and what I want to be?Therefore, in ur case which I know deeply, u have either to choose between Didactics or Literature. We start by literature. So at Blida English Department we have only two teachers who can supervise ur thesis, one in Af Lit and the other one in Eng Lit. In case u like literature, then do it and try to contact ur supervisor earlier. Talking about Didactics, the department does have plenty of teachers who can supervise ur thesis. Hence, if u like sciences of teaching and pedagogy, then do it

I've no slight relation with sth called literature ! Even I enjoyed it a bit last year with Ms.Meziene ! So my choice will be Didactics inshAllah !
