the heart thou ow'st

sometime too short for the eyes should see,
loveliness of thy heart that gives fair to thee
too sweet the sound of heaven under thy embrace,
while angels up in firmaments sing of love and grace
too acrimonious the tourments of parting thy arm
lustre of the heaven's eye in thy charm,
remov'd every bitter treachery trace
and though thy frailty, thou art invincible
for that the power of thy tenderness shall not fade
too cold summer's lease without thy warmth,
though thou art the coolest breath in darkest shade
all's to die ,every fair's to be engraved,
but as long as thy grave is the heart that thou invade,
thy soul shalt be eternal as in my heart thou grow'st.
