my openion is:
of course it is, since nothing is real
bieng in the internet as bieng in masquerade
it is the world of immagination u can in seconds use the mouse as a magic wand and all your dreams become true
even if it is virtual the dream is shaped and all the toughts become free
it is like a second life
the internet helps ppl to toutch their dreams and to transform what they dreamed and what they were unable to achieve but not i reality

For me, it is a mixture. Sometimes, things can be real and happen, like our meeting, and sometimes "let me say most of time" it is fake and immaginative. So, it is not virtuel 100% .

Virtual which means almost as described, or having the properties and appearances of something, but not really that thing. When we say internet is a virtual world, we compare the internet with the real world, so internet has many things like in the real world. For example this forum is like a classroom or a school for us, and characters such as "JOKER", "WOLF" etc are part of this small virtual world. Nevertheless, virtual doesn't mean imaginative or fictive, because we do express ourselves through this virtual world, we made friends, we meet out sometimes, so it's real; if we see each other out , we don't pretend that no one knows the other. Internet is also like any other means of communication, if i talk to a friend on the phone or text-message him, it's just like talking with a headphone or with a keyboard, so if talking on the phone is real, so is in the internet.

European countries use internet in everything!For example if you want a pizza just log on and order it + Many people do their jobs from the Internet + many married people met throughout the internet+ You can sell, buy anything through "Ebay"+....!

Hello every body
I asked this question, because i heard some people saying that internet is just virtual world. The world “virtual” stopped me, and I wondered… “Something virtual is something can’t influence on us, neither by negatives, nor by positives. It also means that we don’t expect any result from a virtual thing. Besides the internet isn’t that much wondrous, it is just a way of communication, just like (phone, fax…) and in future it will be something too simple. If the internet is just virtual world, won’t I be sad or maybe cry if I will hear that joker died
, for example? Bilinda showed in one line what internet made to us, maybe who weren’t with us at that day, can’t feel same with we do Bilinda, especially in Family Shop, no? These are just small examples.
And if the internet is just virtual world, don’t you see that millions get married just by internet?! And don’t you see that in Europe they do shopping, visit libraries just from their homes?! And didn’t you make strong friendship just by internet?!
I think who says that internet is virtual world,i think it's not a way to face life, that is why they use internet as a mask to do what that can’t do face to face, and hide their weakness… and as you can act by using internet, you can also act on phone and so…

It's interesting to see so many posts tackling this topic. Of course, everyone sees life from a specific angle. I believe the question was: is the internet 100% virtual land? When we're talking about the net here, we mainly mean people; data and all sorts of things you may find in the net shouldn't be included in this discussion. Another thing, people that we already met in the real life shouldn't be included either, because we would have formed an idea about them and we would be communicating with them (through the net I mean) based on that already extablished idea. That will leave us with one category of people ; the ones that we didn't have the honor to meet in reality. Are they real friends, or just virtual friends? I have another question for you all and I'll take myself as a sample. Many of you have met me in reality, so did you find myself (in person I mean) any different from W_ch (my virtual character) ? Did your idea change about me when you first met me in person? if yes, what was your previous idea? if no, then I can say that the virtual world and the real world are typically the same, though I don't believe in it...

• Generally, In fact I had the principle of making Net virtual nd not to take everything as serious as it seems to be. But I realized that I should have the reverse . Yeah Internauts r real persons having all the prescriptives of the complete personality we r used of in the real world. Just there r some who gave some false glaces of them, but those r minority in my opinion. Such there r some who lie on our faces, that there r some who lie in internet. The same result with different manners.
• Specifically, in our case (the forum), it's more than real community beacuse we r supposed to give our best to help eachother. At least 4 me I'm giving my best to live here what I sometimes miss in the real world. " Just an opinion

On the net, one has to care for her person as she cares in the real world. Nothing is secure unless we are careful. Accessing the web is swift and at a twinkle of an eye things are embodied infront of you as you wish them to be. You live the moment the way that is planned by you. Leaving it is harder (...and most of the time harsher) than you imagine. It sometimes becomes like an overdose. You are obliged to take a decision towards it ... and what a decision!
