Al Salam Alaykom,

Well, this is my very first post here. I
stumbled upon this forum by coincidence, and it seems cool to join you guys.

I’m willing to point at a widespread
phenomenon amid the Arab and Algerian netizens, which is as stated above:
ORIGINALITY. I mean you’d rarely find something written by the forum members
themselves. The stereotype Arabs’ forum
contains: Copy/paste topics, reiterated discussion threads, books’ downloading
links, etc. In the other hand, if you sneak a peek at foreign forums you
wouldn’t notice such phenomena!

I hope, you wouldn’t get caught in this
trap….

Hello,

Well, to begin with, you're welcome in our "home-made" community. I believe the topic, that you tackled, is attractive and can be looked at from various angles. One thing I'm sure of is that those kinds of phenomena really do not exist in foreign forums. As far as our forum is conserned, "copy and paste" posts have their share in the total rate of posting. Next thing you know, you have a forum loaded with links and articles that were ORIGINALLY created by others, not by us. An even more serious issue is when the source is not mentioned, or when the poster claims a given work as it's own ceation( I must confess that it's very very rare in our forum). In this case, we're dealing with another phenomenon which is plagiarism. That's more dangerous, if you ask me. It makes the learner passive ,lazy and definitely unproductive. " Practice makes perfect" or at least it makes one a perfect-like, and that would be my advice to all (starting by myself first, of course). Practice...Practice...Practice...
