Hello Nounette,

Here you got the reply:

1) To influence=verb
Influence=noun (e.g. she has rather a large influence over her husband)
Influencing/Influenced/influenceable= adj. (e.g. an influencing factor)

2) To finance=verb (e.g. He finances this project...)
Finance= noun (e.g Finance is his biggest problem)
Financial= Adj.

3) To convince= verb
Conviction= noun (Our religious convictions prevent us from...)
Convincing/convinced= Adj (e.g. 1 He is a convinced Marxist. e.g. 2 The president sounded very convincing)

4)To lose=verb (e.g. You will lose sight if you go out in this weather"
Loss=noun (e.g. The war caused a terrible loss of human lives)
Lost=adj (e.g. "Lost you are in your dreams" said the mother angrily

5) To embarrass=verb (The teacher emabarrassed her student..)
Embarrassment=noun (e.g.What an embarrassment!)
Embarrassed/embarrassing=adj (Embarrassed by her question, the student's cheeks turned to a pinky colour. e.g; What an embarrassing situation)

Hope that helps a bit! By the way, I want you to read about the "verbals"
