World University Rankings results 2008

Here is the ranking of the 500 best universities in the world for 2008. You'll find a comparison with the 2007 ranking. Of course Soumaa university is the first 
no really it might be the first in matter of giving degrees!!!
More seriously the one which came first is Harvard University, Followed by Yale University, then comes University of Cambridge and University of Oxford.
from the 18 first universities, 13 of them are US universities which make me ask myself some questions: is this ranking objective? Where are the German universities and the Japanese ones?
Anyway, there are only 3 Arab universities that have been ranked amongst the 500 top universities: in the 338th position we have King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals; in the 407th position we find Cairo University and we have United Arab Emirates University between 450 and 500.

Ah yes I've heard that our department took the honour award and that Mr. Izroug was in the Jury

It's so obvious that this ranking is so politicized, where is the Great Algiers University!!! The worldwilde known for her...I mean her...you know her...I don't find the words

of course our university can't be mentioned among those great universities,but it can be one day if we make more efforts i mean we individuals simple people.we have to take the initiative.

I'm sorry ladies and gentlemen to interrupt you but have you seen the 2009 top 500 universities? I don't wanna seem pessimist but NO ARAB UNIVERSITY IS MENTIONED
