A Student's Guide to Literature Empty A Student's Guide to Literature

Post by Ezinma Wed Apr 08, 2009 7:07 pm

A Student's Guide to Literature takes up these questions: In a time of mass culture and pulp fiction, can great literature still be discerned, much less defended? Why is literature so compelling? What should we read? Literary scholar R. V. Young addresses these timely issues in this guide to Western literature and poetry. He demonstrates that literature liberates the mind from cultural and temporal provincialism by expanding our intellectual and emotional horizons. Learn how great fiction and poetry are integral to a liberal education, and visit the classic works of literature again—or for the first time.

That's a wonderful book that lay waste all the biases about literature. I think it's important for those who think literature is a waste of time rojla1

Hello Bryne. I haven't got what you mean by " a coplete research" or even by correcting the spelling " a complete research". Do you need a complete research? What about working and reading and making a synthesis! I don't know but I think you could ask about documents in Naturalism we would have tried to answer, but I don't think that asking about a full research is good ( no mentioning that no complete research can ever be done!).

By the way there's something about Naturalisme in "Everything About the Modules" and here is the link: Click here
