Aloneness or Loneliness?
When all people from oneself depart, only it gets near. Aloneness is everyone’s friend, closer to the few, far from the many; though aloneness is not loneliness. We might be lonely when cast on a faraway island or desert, yet we can be lonely too amid one’s family, society or even amidst a crowded place. Being lonely is to be estranged from society, friends and family; to be without care, without love.
Being alone is being with oneself, Buddah said: « We are born alone, we live alone, and we die alone »; this solitude of our soul makes of us the human being. Nobody can live in our place, nor die instead of us, no one can love or hate rather than us. Not being aware of one’s solitude and aloneness makes us strangers and drives us to loneliness. People fear being alone, they spend their time trying to get engaged with others, discuss with neighbours, watch TV, listen to the Radio, Connect and chat on internet, no matter what but just an escape from being alone. Even, then their feeling of loneliness grow bigger. Do you really love the other or love being with the other not to be lonely? Is it a kind of paranoia, aren’t you using each other not to be (feel) lonely? Aloneness though is an attempt to exist. To be alone is not a refusal of the other or arrogance towards the other but simply an acceptance of the other as Other.
In nowhere, there I can find myself. Amid daisies and tulips, under majestic trees, next to the bubbling of water streams, enchanted by the bird's lullaby I close my eyes and meet my self...

Re: Aloneness or Loneliness?
Isn’t it weird that in this era of communication people are feeling more isolated and lonelier? It’s a silent pain crawling into one’s soul, like a toothache no one can feel it but you. Lying down on a lethargic bed of a so called net, a net made by mobile phones, computers, internet and all sorts of isolating gadgets. How civilized we become! Walking in the city for hours without meeting a familiar face!
It’s weird I got aware of my loneliness when away from all those gadgets; when without a phone, without a computer and without technology, I melted with the breeze of the fresh day, with that extremely communicative dawn where I found back my natural net. There, in that place called a remote area I met myself. It was the harmonious chirruping sound of birds that softly murmured into my ear the sweetest good morning ever. I opened my eyes when a waft of happiness tickled my body, a warm sunray greeting me. I understood there that people in cities are getting closer in space but further in souls; they are corpses dwelling sordidly majestic holes called modern houses. In that small house I felt near the souls of the people living in the neighborhood.
