Mass Media

Hello mates,

It's known as the forth authority in a given country. It's a means to dilever news through out the world using different technologies. Internet,Newspapers and TV are the famous ones among those;some are privte while others belong to the state. Mass media is a dangerous weapon if used incorrectly or used to serve personal intrests. Because of it,the west has formulated this stereotype "Muslim = Terrorist". Most of the mysterious bombings are linked to the "Qa3ida" or to Muslims in general,evenif there was no evidence which says so. Almost everyday,the European coast guards poll out dead Algerian corpse from the Mediterranean.Everyone of those has been effected and brian-washed, in a lesser degree,by the Mass Media which pictures the west and Europe as a Utopia. A more recent event in which the media has a hand in,is the problem that occured between two muslim nations over a match of football. An event which almost led to a war whose hero is the Mass Media!!!

What do you have to say about this means of communication when lossing its "foundation stone"...Credibility??

I agree with all what you're saying about mass media. First off, since it's a human-made thing of course it's dangerous. So its demonic effects be it on societies or individuals won't cease since we're still on earth.

if you think that mas media play a demonic role,why don't try,for a while ,to stop watching news,weather forcast, or take in to the streets and say that we don't want to see those ugly faces on sceens speaking about aa soccer match? ask your self if you had spent a single day without watching t v or reading a newspapser.One would say that i 'm speaking non sens.Here is something else:Mass media would be like a bunch of Odds and Ends,if you get rid of one of them ,what are you suppsed to have in the end?????

Thank you all for your responses.It's very difficult to be cut off the rest of the world.It's a part of our instinct to be aware of our surrondings;it gives us a sense of belonging.It's true one can choose delkader,but could he/she live not having a clue about what's happening in the world? I think(that's just an opinion) that this means of communication has rooted down deeply in our lives,that is almost impossible for us to live with out it.
