What countries did the enlightenment affect?
The
Enlightenment mainly centered on England, but the Founding Fathers of
America took to the message to heart more than most other areas. By
reading Locke, Rousseau, Hobbes, Montesquieu and others, Thomas
Jefferson, James Madison, John Adams and the others formed the basis of
the Constitution and Declaration of Independence on those ideas.

france was the center of enlightement than The new intellectual forces spread to urban centers across Europe, notably England, Scotland, the German states, the Netherlands, Russia, Italy, Austria, and Spain, then jumped the Atlantic into the European colonies, where it influenced benjamine franklin and Jefferson thomas , and played a major role in the American revolution
